Unit 8:Past Modals:WOULD HAVE,SHOULD HAVE,COULD HAVE

Note:You can use these past modals to talk hypothetically about the past.

Would-I would have said no politely.
            She would have lost her temper.
            She wouldn`t have yelled at him.

Should-She should have stayed up too late the night before.
             She shouldn`t have set her alarm clock.


Could-She could have told him.
           He  couldn`t have made much else.  
            I could have done my homework.
