VERBS FOLLOWED BY TO AND ING:

En inglés hay ciertos verbos que, según vayan seguidos de to+infinitivo o de gerundio (-ing) (la ortografía del gerundio está en las reglas del Presente Continuo), cambian su significado.Esos verbos son: REMEMBER (recordar), FORGET (olvidar) ,TRY)(intentar), STOP (parar), REGRET (lamentar), MEAN AL(implicar, tener la intención), ALLOW/PERMIT ( dejar, permitir). Las reglas que vas a leer a continuación son fáciles si prestas atención y las leés con interés +TO INFINITIVE: al recordar algo que vas a hacer en el futuro o cuando queremos enumerar una serie de acciones que teniamos/tenemos que hacer. Por ejemplo, en el primer caso (algo que vamos a hacer en el futuro):I must remember TO GO to the bank tomorrow(Debo recordar ir al banco mañana)En este caso, REMEMBER va seguido de to+infinitivo (to go) porque se está recordando algo que vamos a hacer en el futuro.Otro ejemplo, en el segundo caso (serie de acciones o lista de tareas que hay que hacer):Did you remember TO EMAIL Mike?(¿recordaste mandar un e-mail a Miguel?)En este caso, aunque la interrogativa está en pasado (did), lo que se enfatiza es la tarea de mandar un e-mail a Miguel, por eso va seguido de to+infinitivo.REMEMBER+ -ING: al recordar algo del pasado, algo que ya se ha hecho. My favorite baseball player

I have a problem with choosing my favorite baseball player,because I'm a fanatic of Leones del Escogido and I follow all the players of Leones del Escogido team in mayor league baseball such as minor league baseball,so I have a favorite baseball player that I like more than the rest,a player that I follow.This is who represents me or with I feel myself identified.Is to whom I follow everyday and in every game(when I can).

In this case I have troubles with choosing my favorite baseball player.In this moment I have two players that I follow their names are:Rafael Furcal and David Ortiz.I follow to Rafael Furcal because he played with Leones del Escogido team.I have this rule:when my team change a player, inmediately stop following him because he already is out of the team and I don't mind,but in this case it hasn't been like it used to be because I'm still following to Rafael Furcal although he has been changed to other team(Aguilas Cibaeñas).

In the other situation I follow to David Ortiz,because is a player of my favorite team (my favorite team in mlb).He still is part of Escogido team and here is the problem:I admire each other and I don't know to whom I have to choose,although I think that David is a good choise because is from my two teams here and there and is better than Rafael,but I still have problems with that.

We was talking about music, and we have in this moment a lot of kind of music, classical music, typical music, Christian music for me, the music is very interesting and we can learn a lot of things with this.Our culture sometimes we have a limitation by the capacity of you can explorer or know the variety of musical rythm, and kind of music, and that you can bee is manifested in the moment when you ask somebody, and the result are limited to tropical rythm. Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, reguetton, Mambo.
All this probably is, becasuse sometimes we dont know about other rythm for another culture, and the radio station only put musics that they can have more people, but we always have some exception, that they want to work for the culture and music in our city.
Our labor like dominicans people, parents and student is to be avalaible for teach and learn to our future generations to be create a very high variety of music, and not be limited to tropical rythm, and we can be collaborated for our culture and our identification in the future.
For me the music is like a freedom, in everithing that you have in your life, but I always said that we need to have our mine open for the music, because sometime we just are close wich one type of music, but for example, in the class some people said that they just like dominican music, and others said that just like Omega something like this, I want to write about this because I want to invite you to feel it the variety of the music.
We have in our country a kind of music that maybe you dont know is the music by groups. for example; National Choir, The choir of the la Catedral Primada de America, la Uasd Choir, and in all publics intitution is a choir in there.
